This fluid art technique is called the ‘Dutch Pour’ or  Air Swipe technique where you pour from a cup and use a hairdryer to move the paint and created stunning cells, blooms and effects.  So simple, but so effective. After some paint play and practice on a small canvas, you will create your masterpiece on either a 12 x 16 inch (30 x 40cm) back stapled thin edge canvas; or upgrade to a larger canvas, 16 x 20 inches. You can collect after 3 days drying time (or arrange to have sent to you). All instruction, support and materials are supplied. A handout will be emailed after the class.

• How to mix paints and paint mediums suitable for this technique
• Which recipes are good for this technique and what difference this makes.
• How to choose colours and layer your paints on the canvas.
• How to create beautiful cells and lacing in your art

All supplies provided including canvases, paint, pouring medium, cups, gloves, apron and tools. We provide plenty of space, with a maximum of 8 participants. Light refreshments (tea, coffee) provided.  We use acrylic paint that is non toxic. Remember to wear old clothes as it can be a messy business, and whilst the paint and mediums will wash out if you get to it quickly, that is not always easy to do.
