Learn to create stunning, beautiful, unique art through the amazing fluid art technique, where the paint is poured and no brushes are used.
Fluid Art Experiences are about having fun and being creative.
Join a class and you will be introduced to the wonder of fluid art where you can literally ‘go with the flow’ and let your imagination soar and create beautiful vivid pieces of artwork with astonishing designs of swirling gradients.
And one of the best parts is … you need NO painting experience. This class is suitable for the novice as well as hobbyists and artists looking to develop skills in specific new techniques. Everyone is welcome and included. Bring your friends or come along and make new ones.
We teach a range of techniques; come for one session or a series. Warning… fluid art is addictive!

Acrylic Painting events are fun – bring your friends or make new ones whilst you are guided step by step in create your art masterpiece.Â
Follow the storyboard and guidance from your tutor, vary the colours, style, placement of features as you want to make it your own unique creation.
Choose the painting event that suits you, with different unique paintings offered regularly. No painting experience needed – we mean this, you will create a great outcome with no painting experience, just follow the instructions and guidance.
Our acrylic artist Setareh runs a range of classes and course with a signature six (6) week course and other shorter ones learning different techniques of inspiring artists. Setareh will be back in term late August with a 4 week course.

Do you want to get some in depth experience to really explore Fluid Art / Acrylic Pouring?
5 week Fluid Art Courses
The next 5 week course will run on a Thursday evenings starting August 8 2024. The course will focus on techniques using thicker paint including the popular Bloom and Bloom Swipe styles, Ring Pour, Straight Pour, using strainers and much more. . Â
In term 3 will be back into thinner paint styles. You can book above under Fluid Art.
Weekend Fluid Art Lab
Enjoy the amazing experience of delving into acrylic pouring over a whole day on a weekend. We will go deep into some of the most popular and interesting styles. Perfect for those that want maximum exposure to learning and networking with other fluid artists and for those who need to travel. Stay tuned for dates later in 2024.

What is supplied:
Everything you need is provided including canvases, paint, pouring medium, paint brushes, cups, gloves, apron and tools. All products are non toxic. We provide plenty of space, with a maximum of 8 participants.
Light refreshments – tea, coffee and water provided.
If you are choosing a ‘paint and sip’ activity, glasses and plates are provided – BYO drinks and nibbles.
What to bring :
For Fluid Art you should wear old clothes as it can be a messy business, and whilst the paint and mediums will wash out if you get to it quickly, that is not always easy to do.

Julie Langdon – Fluid Art
Julie is a passionate fluid artist who has been exploring this art form for more than 7 years after a lifetime of art, crafts and all things creative. Julie believes that art can enrich and transform our lives, and loves helping people find and express their creativity.
Julie is the Director of Live For Art, has managed community organisations for many years, has a Masters degree in Social Work and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Setareh Hosseini – Acrylic Painting
Setareh is a visual artist who has exhibited internationally. As a child she was touched by her mothers art classes in a family where music and painting formed the atmosphere in the home. She has extensive experience teaching adults and children to be creative through a range of art forms.
Setareh completed a Masters of Illustration in 2005 at the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Tehran, Iran. She also has a BA in graphic design and an MA in illustration. Â
