After School Fluid Art Come and Try 6-2-25
Come and Try fluid art - create stunning, beautiful, unique art through the amazing fluid art technique, where the paint is poured and no brushes are used.
$ 60.00 incl GST
8 available

Fluid Art, is also called Pouring Art or Acrylic Pouring. It is fun and can be accessible to all ages. Children will be introduced to the wonder of fluid art where they can create beautiful, colourful pieces of artwork. In this class we will try two different techniques on small canvases – if you are new to fluid art, it is an opportunity to have a go and consider if you would like to do a 6 week after school course (commencing 28th February 2025).

NO painting experience is needed.

This class is for Primary School Aged children. If your child is not able to follow instruction or needs more support than 1 staff to 8 children can provide, then please discuss with Julie prior to booking.

Note that fluid art paintings cannot be taken home on the day, they need to dry flat and can be collected after 3 days drying time. All instruction, support and materials are supplied.

Participants will learn:

  • How to make paint fluid
  • How to work with fluid paint in a range of different styles
  • How to mix paints and paint mediums suitable for the fluid art technique we do

Participants are provided with:

  • All supplies provided including canvases, paint, pouring medium, cups, gloves, plastic apron and tools.
  • Drinking water

Participants will create

  • One canvas which can be collected after 3 days drying time

We use acrylic paint that is non toxic. Remember to wear old clothes as it can be a messy business, and whilst the paint and mediums will wash out if you get to it quickly, that is not always easy to do.
